I know a lot of awesome "GeoWomen" in Florida who may be interested in this National States Geographic Information Council effort.

Note that right now the effort is pretty much in a developing mode --
"We see a big opportunity to take advantage of collaboration tools that will be part of the new web platform NSGIC will be rolling out over the next few months," (Molly) Schar (NSGIC Executive Director) said.
And you won't necessarily have to be a NSGIC member to participate -
"We want to invite not just NSGIC members to participate, but also others in the geospatial community, including the many existing 'women in GIS' groups across the country."
I will make sure to send out an update when the collaboration site is up and running.
You may also reach out directly to Molly at molly.schar at nsgic.org.
Thanks,
