shrug-l: Calling for SHRUG Board of Officers Nominations

Hi Everyone,

SHRUG GIS is now soliciting nominations for the 2018-2020 Board of Officers. There are two expectations for individuals who serve as officers in SHRUG and they are the following:

1.       The individuals who are nominated/elected have previously served on the SHRUG Committee

2.       The individuals who are nominated/elected are able to attend monthly meetings in-person

SHRUG Elections timeline:
Nominations will run from 10/4/2017 through 10/16/2017. After that, the top two nominees by number of votes will be given the opportunity to accept or reject the nomination.

Elections will run from 10/23/2017 through 11/3/2017 and will be sent out as a follow-up Survey Monkey Poll to the ListServe. The new SHRUG Board of Officers will be announced at the SHRUG Workshop on 11/9/2017.

For your reference, below are the current SHRUG Board of Officers. There is no term limit for the SHRUG Board of Officers.

Sara Wander, FDACS - Secretary
Duane Treadon,  City of Thomasville - Treasurer
Chad Turner, Nobles Consulting Group  - Incorporator
Avis Wiggins, City of Tallahassee - Registered Agent
