AmericaView is a nationwide partnership of remote sensing scientists who support the use of Landsat<http://landsat.gsfc.nasa.gov/pdf_archive/LandsatImprovingLife.pdf> and other public domain remotely sensed data through applied remote sensing research, K-12 and higher STEM education, workforce development, and technology transfer. For a thorough description of our program, see the 2011 Feature Article<http://onlinedigitalpublishing.com/publication/?i=83446&p=14> in Photogrammetric Engineering and Remote Sensing, a publication of the American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing.

There is no FL membership in this organization.

I believe an effort like this would be critical for leveraging resources like the International Charter -- https://t.co/8J8rJ6co6R.

Did you attend a Florida university and study in a remote sensing program? Could you engage your contacts in that community?

We need a leader here for the State of Florida - who has the expertise to coordinate this community and bring this unique access to data to bear for us all.

Understand - that leader is not me! I do not have the skill set, I do not have access to the specialized software required, and I don't have the time!

Thanks,
