We are seeking an experienced Geoinformatics' Specialist for a long-term contract assignment with our Austin, Texas based client assisting with the implementation of several projects and operations related to the field of Geoinformatics.  In this role, you will assist in managing, planning and executing efforts related to enhancement of the clients Real Time Kinematic Network. This requires a strong background in necessary work associated with architecture of a geoinformatics reporting network and the knowledge of the necessary algorithms and considerations involved in analysis and verification of data associated with reference points in a real time network. The ideal candidate will have significant expertise and demonstrated experience in like projects, particularly with the technology risks, challenges, and solution sets that often accompany NGS standards. You will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on systems which support the accurate and autonomous usage of a real-time geoinformatics system for end users in the field and be responsible for creating and maintaining work artifacts and records.



Requirements:

Yrs.         Experience

10          Experience related to deployment and optimization of reference points within geoinformatics systems

8            Experience related to verification of reference points within geoinformatics systems for abnormal movement detection, incorrect coordinate updates, and adjustment of existing reference stations.

4            Experience related to supporting, operating, and enhancing a real-time reference network consisting for nodes on the order of hundreds.



Preferred:

Yrs.        Experience

5           Work with public sector agencies

3           Previous experience with the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT)



Must be on-site in Austin, Texas 100%-Remote is not available.
