Scope of Services:

Nature of project or situation which requires contractor staff to supplement permanent staff:
• Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department - requires GIS Support Specialist to work existing CAD features to high accuracy
GPS coordinates
Job category of skill set required (see attachment with job categories/rates)
• GIS Support Specialist
Specification of needed skill sets
• Candidate must have knowledge of GIS systems standards and procedures
• Candidate must have strong knowledge and experience editing in ArcMap
• Candidate must have the ability to exercise independent judgment under general supervision
• Candidate must have an understanding of relational database technologies, SQL Server or Oracle
• Candidate must have strong Communication Skills to communicate and resolve data inconsistencies
Required experience/ skills/knowledge ( software/ hardware/project, etc)
• One (1) years of ArcMap 10.0 or higher
o Experience with GPS data, water utility as-builts and CAD drawings
Preferred but not required experience / skills / knowledge:
• Knowledge of water utilities infrastructure and the ability to read and interpret as-built drawings.
• Ability to work successfully alone or in a team environment
