Introducing Dr. Steve Padgett Vasquez!

SHRUG is excited to announce our keynote speaker for the the 2020 SHRUG GIS Virtual Workshop is Dr. Steve Padgett Vasquez!

Dr. Steve Padgett Vasquez is a geospatial data proselytizer. He has spent the last ten years helping stakeholders and clients maximize the value of Earth observing data in their decision making. Steve started his career with NASA DEVELOP<https://shrug-gis.us13.list-manage.com/track/click?u=26f75f83d08ed1253a68bb097&id=5ed417d9e8&e=0152303309> and is now a Customer Success Manager at Planet<https://shrug-gis.us13.list-manage.com/track/click?u=26f75f83d08ed1253a68bb097&id=9252fb621c&e=0152303309>. He holds a PhD in Integrative Conservation and Geography for the University of Georgia, an MS in Biology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a BS in Biology from Thomas University. Originally from Tegucigalpa, Honduras, Steve now calls Atlanta, Georgia, home where he lives with his wife Allison, daughter Valkyrie, and another daughter (Andromeda) on the way!
