shrug-l: Why is ESRI Retiring Collector?

Hi all,

So far, I am VERY unimpressed with Field Maps. Collector was very easy to
set up, download the data, edit it, among other functionalities. From what
I've seen so far, many of the functionalities that were within Collector,
were not developed for/within Field Maps.

I'd really like to hear any additional thoughts any of you have on this.
