shrug-l: Projection issue with a CAD file

Hi all,

I received a CAD drawing from a surveyor recently so that I could verify
the parcel boundaries for a project I'm working on. The CAD drawing had the
incorrect projection and coordinate system for this project. I exported the
polygon portion of the CAD file to a shapefile and used the Define
Projection tool to reproject it into the same projection and coordinate
system as the other feature classes in a file geodatabase in the project
mxd. In addition, I set the coordinate system in the data frame for the
project feature classes, and I also imported the polygon shapefile into the
project file geodatabase, but the result is the same, it's still not
showing up where it should be. I'm using ArcMap 10.8.1, Advanced (ArcInfo).

I'm puzzled as to what I'm doing wrong. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

Below are the projection specifics, etc.for the CAD files:
Projected Coordinate System: State Plane 83 FL East NAD83 US Survey
Feet-csref
Projection: Transverse_Mercator
False_Easting: 656166.66666667
False_Northing: 0.00000000
Central_Meridian: -81.00000000
Scale_Factor: 0.99994118
Latitude_Of_Origin: 24.33333333
Linear Unit: Foot_US

Geographic Coordinate System: GCS_North_American_1983
Datum: D_North_American_1983
Prime Meridian: Greenwich
Angular Unit: Degree

Here is the coordinate system, etc.for the feature classes in the project
file geodatabase:
Projected Coordinate System: Albers Conical Equal Area [Florida Geographic
Data Library]
Projection: Albers
False_Easting: 400000.00000000
False_Northing: 0.00000000
Central_Meridian: -84.00000000
Standard_Parallel_1: 24.00000000
Standard_Parallel_2: 31.50000000
Central_Parallel: 24.00000000
Linear Unit: Meter

Geographic Coordinate System: GCS_North_American_1983_HARN
Datum: D_North_American_1983_HARN
Prime Meridian: Greenwich
Angular Unit: Degree

Sincerely,
Scott Crosby
