shrug-l: ArcGIS Pro problem

Greetings everyone.  After a recent Arc Pro update I can't create feature class files from XY tables anymore.  The tool runs and reports that it was successful but the layer is not created.  I have tried repairing ArcGIS and then uninstalling and reinstalling, to no avail.  After doing some Googling someone had success with overwriting the XYEvents.dll script.  I would like to try installing this script from a previous version of ArcGIS Pro.  Mine has a date of 12/04/2020.  Anyone out there willing to share an older version with me?
