NC State University's Institute for Transportation Research and Education
(ITRE) is hosting an online instructor-led Learning ArcGIS Pro 2: Editing,
Analysis and Automation class next week in partnership with the
Davey Resource Group. There are still seats available for those
interested.

*Learning ArcGIS Pro 2: Editing, Analysis, and Automation (Sept 13-14)*


This 2-day intermediate course will teach students how they can use ArcGIS
Pro to edit data, create 3D maps, perform GIS analysis and automate
processes using ModelBuilder and Python.

Topics Covered:

1.                   Creating 3D Maps

2.                   Edit spatial and tabular data

3.                   Sharing maps, layouts, projects and processes

4.                   Performing simple GIS analysis using Geoprocessing
tools

5.                   Standardizing workflows using Tasks

6.                   Automating processes with ModelBuilder & Python

*Intended Audience*

This course is intended for those needing to learn how to maintain data and
perform basic analysis using ArcGIS Pro. It does require students to have
basic skills and experience using ArcGIS Pro. It is recommended that any
student seeking to take this class have completed the Learning ArcGIS Pro 1
course or have similar real-world experience.

*Prerequisites and requirements*

Students taking this course should have completed the Learning ArcGIS Pro
1: Fundamentals or have similar real-world experience using ArcGIS Pro.

For this online instructor-led class, students will need a computer with
ArcGIS Pro installed and have an ArcGIS Pro Basic or higher license
assigned to the student from their organization prior to class. The
computer needs to meet or exceed Esri's recommended specifications which
can be found at
https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/get-started/arcgis-pro-system-requirements.htm.
This should be verified prior to the start of class.
