size=3>Regional Planning Agency serving 10 counties in Coastal Georgia is
expanding its planning staff to meet the needs of a growing region. Our region
includes 100 miles of coastline with eight barrier islands, major port
facilities in Savannah and Brunswick, and large military installations (Fort
Stewart/Hunter Army Airfield and Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay), which are
expanding as a result of BRAC 2005. </FONT></P>

<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><FONT face="Times New Roman"
size=3>Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of experience in GIS applications or 2-3
years experience. Working familiarity with Arc Info/Arc GIS 8.3 or 9.0 software
and Trimble GPS required.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Must
possess strong written and verbal skills and experience with integration of
planning and GIS. Selected candidate will conduct GIS tasks for a variety of
projects, including comprehensive plans and flood insurance rate maps. This is a
one year position and its continuation is contingent upon the availability of
projects. Starting salary $29,415 - $30,904, DOE.</FONT></P>
