This position provides GIS support to Florida Department of Environmental
Protection’s Bureau of Watershed Management.<span

Watershed Monitoring Section Staff to define a target population of
hydrological features in the form of a series of GIS layers that depict
resources of concern and from which sampling locations will be derived,
reviewing the spatial accuracy of a number of sampled locations and assigning
predefined confidence codes based on the availability of descriptive
information in linked tables and providing other GIS/GPS technical support as
defined by the program areas that the GIS section supports.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

understanding of water quality monitoring network design principles, experience
mapping and performing geospatial analyses of water quality sampling results,
familiarity with the National Hydrography Dataset (NHD) and an understanding of
