the general direction of the City Administrator and the Live Oak City Council,
responsible for overseeing and/or preparation of plans/drawings, specifications
and contracts for the construction of streets, sidewalks, storm drainage
projects, and other public facilities; coordinating with contractors and
consultants to insure compliance with various projects; plans and directs the
permitting process for various projects; inspection of construction projects
for compliance with specifications and local codes; review private development
and design of projects within the city limits; review plats, plans and cost
estimates and specifications for development; attends meetings with area
developers to discuss local code and regulatory requirements. Serves as
liaison between the city, appropriate county, state, federal agencies and
developers by providing information in person and by written communication on
city projects.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
