<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us">Rather than combine the two conferences I would prefer for to get different professional surveyors that consistently provide accurate, usable data to GIS professionals to give talks/workshops at the SHRUG conference.</SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"></SPAN></P>

<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New">Let anyone who wants to be part of the Shrug Workshop participate. A SHRUG-FLURISA conference is fine but not a FLURISA-SHRUG Conference. This is first and foremost a SHRUG event.</FONT></SPAN></P>
<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New">However, I see a large conflict of interest in Lee Hartsfield beimng president of both SHRUG and FLURISA at the same time, especially when they are in discussion with each other.</FONT></SPAN></P>
<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New">I believe he should be required to step down from one of these organizations before any further discussion takes place.</FONT></SPAN></P>
<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New">A "conflist of interest" or a "preception of a conflict of intesrest" is not in the best interests of either organization.</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"></SPAN></P>
