pack 3 for ArcGIS. You can download it from <A
href="http://support.esri.com">http://support.esri.com</A>. This service pack is
about 161 MB in size not counting the Help service pack. It seems to address
many problems that folks have encountered when trying to use or export AutoCAD
DWG files. Some of the things they have fixed include:</FONT></SPAN></DIV>
<UL>
<LI><SPAN class=896255713-01082007><FONT face=Arial>The ExportCAD tool should
generate a PRJ file for new CAD files created using this geoprocessing
tool.</FONT></SPAN></LI>
<LI><SPAN class=896255713-01082007><FONT face=Arial>Export CAD is exporting to
R-14 DWG/DXF format.</FONT></SPAN></LI>
<LI><SPAN class=896255713-01082007><FONT face=Arial>The Export CAD tool is not
exporting any Annotation or point Feature classes for DXF</FONT></SPAN></LI>
<LI><SPAN class=896255713-01082007><FONT face=Arial>The Export CAD tool is not
preserving the rotation of Annotation rotation when they are exported to CAD
text</FONT></SPAN></LI>
<LI><SPAN class=896255713-01082007><FONT face=Arial>Add support for embedded
spatial references in CAD reader. This embedded spatial reference can then be
leveraged by the ArcGIS for AutoCAD application</FONT></SPAN></LI></UL>
<DIV><SPAN class=896255713-01082007><FONT face=Arial>CAD support is not the only
things ESRI has fixed. Some other issues they have addressed

<LI><SPAN class=896255713-01082007><FONT face=Arial>When using North Arrow 1
in a layout, it should now export correctly to PDF and EPS
files</FONT></SPAN></LI>
<LI><SPAN class=896255713-01082007><FONT face=Arial>Select by location using
an ArcSDE point feature should now work</FONT></SPAN></LI>
<LI><SPAN class=896255713-01082007><FONT face=Arial>Improved dual monitor
support</FONT></SPAN></LI>
