native projection of the dataset. I have on several occasions interactively
defined the dataset in exactly the same projection and only an import would
work. By this I mean, if you have other data in the SPCS projection that do
line up with your Albers data, then import that spatial reference information
to your feature classes instead of interactively choosing your coordinate system
and datum. There are also several variations of NAD83 in the ESRI coordinate
system files; make sure to grab the right one. Good luck! Kristal<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

are having issues with reprojecting feature classes we have extracted from our

I am attempting to reproject these feature classes into Albers, but, everytime
I bring them into ArcMap they look exaclty like they did when they were defined

Albers projection. </span></font> <br>

anyone have any ideas on what might be going on? I have seen this happen
before, but only when we did not define the projection before attempting to
reproject, but in this case, that isn't the issue. I have also attempted
this process on shapefiles vs. feature classes as well, and nothing seems to
work. Thanks!</span></font> <br>
