This employee will be responsible for database design, systems management, spatial data conversion, integration of spatial and non-spatial data and user training and support. Knowledge required for this position includes, but is not limited to, knowledge of GIS concepts and principles, knowledge of ArcSDE, ArcGIS and Microsoft SQL servers and associated database management and system administration. This position requires knowledge and skill with project management, preferably with local government. This position requires skill in the development of project strategies, researching and evaluating new GIS software and technologies and in creating custom and standard map products. Employee must be able to use office equipment such as computer, calculator, copier, scanner and facsimile machine. Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required. Minimum qualifications for this position include five years experience associated with completion of specialized training in the field of work. Bachelor's degree preferred. Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's licenses issued by the State of Georgia. Annual salary range is $47,504 - $57,879. Salary is commensurate with experience and education.
