It shows students how to apply ArcGIS tools in a workflow context with a focus on working with data stored in a geodatabase and performing geoprocessing and analysis. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal> <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><a href="http://www.shrug-gis.info/workshop12/trainingcourse1.aspx">GIS Desktop Basics</a> – November 13 in Tallahassee<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>This one day beginner course provides the foundation for understanding GIS, what it can do, and how it is being used. Students learn the basic functions of a GIS, GIS Terminology, and why GIS is powerful tool for data analysis, retrieval and visualization.
