Projects and other files created with ArcGIS Pro 2.0 may not be compatible with earlier versions. This might include: projects and project templates, as well as, layer, map, and layout files. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Since ArcGIS Pro 2.0 is considered a major release, it and the files it creates are forward compatible only. This means you can open files created in previous versions of ArcGIS Pro but older versions will not be able to open files created with the new version. It is not possible to directly back save a copy of an ArcGIS Pro 2.0 project which can be opened with any 1.x version of ArcGIS Pro.
