<strong>Job Description: - </strong><br>
A leading provider of software and services for the oil and gas pipeline industry is looking for an outstanding Senior<br>
GIS Software Engineer to work in our Atlanta office. This position requires knowledge of GIS, ESRI ArcObjects and<br>
Microsoft .NET Framework technologies. The successful candidate must also have strong communication and<br>
collaboration skills as well as excellent coding habits.<br>

<br>
<strong>ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong><br>
· Code new product features based on functional requirements and specifications<br>
· Write unit tests to validate functionality<br>
· Resolve product defects reported by product support and quality assurance teams<br>
· Follow the established software development methodology<br>
· Review the work of peers to ensure consistency and quality<br>
· Provide status updates of work progress<br>
· Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends<br>

<br>
<strong>EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS</strong><br>
· BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field<br>
· 3-4+ years of experience with C#<br>
· Experience in coding desktop applications using Microsoft technologies<br>
· Experience with ArcObjects, ArcGIS, and ability to design and construct extensions in ArcMap and/or<br>
ArcGIS Server<br>
· An understanding of coordinate systems and projection systems, and the ability to work with, and<br>
program against Esri Geodatabases<br>
· Experience in writing software that runs against either Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server<br>
· Strong problem-solving, analytical, and conceptual skills and a solid working knowledge of object-oriented<br>
concepts and software patterns<br>
· Ability to collaborate with other team members in the execution of large-scale projects<br>

<strong>PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS</strong><br>
· Knowledge of Xamarin Forms<br>
· Experience in front-end web development technologies<br>
· Esri ArcGIS JavaScript API experience<br>
