</table><div dir="ltr">Scott,<div>If you still like Collector, Field Maps can be used the same way. You do not have to do any more setup than you have done in the past for Collector. The general user interface is the same between the two if you are not using any advanced features. We have been using Field Maps like this for several projects for over a year now on some of our older projects with no issue. </div><div><br></div><div>Field Maps does support more advanced features which were introduced with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise such as attribute rules, utility network, contingent values, and so on. These were things that did not exist when Collector was developed. Some of this you could implement in Collector but required an add-on. Field Maps supports these natively. I also believe they have improved the integration between Field Maps and other mobile apps such as Survey123. </div><div><br></div><div>My impression is that Field Maps is really an update or upgrade to Collector. Esri just decided to give this update a new name for some reason. We have been using it for many of our projects now for over a year and in general like it better. We have seen some improved performance and like the integration of the attribute rules and contingent values. </table><div dir="auto"><div dir="auto">Hi all,<div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">So far, I am VERY unimpressed with Field Maps. Collector was very easy to set up, download the data, edit it, among other functionalities.
