>From Environmental Protection E-News:
Our Environmental Tip of the Week is courtesy of Sprint. Keep those=20
old wireless phones out of landfills. Sprint's wireless division is=20
asking consumers to donate previously used wireless phones at Sprint=20
stores and participating Easter Seals locations. Through Sprint=20
Project Connect, donated wireless phones will be either recycled or=20
resold with 35 percent of the proceeds benefiting Easter Seals and=20
the National Organization on Disability (N.O.D.) - two key=20
organizations that serve people with disabilities. Older and=20
obsolete models of wireless phones will be accepted but may have no=20
value to the Wireless Foundation and thus may not generate funds for=20
Easter Seals and the National Organization on Disability. However,=20
these phones will be recycled in an environmentally sound manner. To=20
