The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) School Chemical
Cleanout Campaign (SC3) has some limited funds left for helping schools with
removal of their unwanted chemicals. This service will be provided to schools
on a "first come, first served" basis. To be eligible for this service, the
school must conduct a chemical inventory and submit a list of chemicals to be
removed to DEP. DEP can provide help with the chemical inventory.

A school can get their name on the waiting list or request help with their
inventory by contacting Julie Rainey at 850-245-8713 or
Julie.c.rainey at dep.state.fl.us or Janet Ashwood at 850-245-8789 or
Janet.ashwood at dep.state.fl.us

Due to the high demand for this service, we recommend that the school contact
us as soon as possible. We will let them know when we have run out of funds.
