REMINDER TO REGISTER FOR THE 2010 NAHMMA FLORIDA CONFERENCE AND MAKE YOUR HOTEL RESERVATIONS
Hello Florida Caribbean NAHMMA Chapter Members, All Florida SQG and HHW Program Coordinators
The 2010 NAHMMA conference early bird registration discount deadline has been extended until July 5, 2010. We need you to make your reservations to attend this year's NAHMMA National Conference and Florida HHW/SQG Workshop as soon as possible. Please visit the website registration page at www.nahmma.org<http://www.nahmma.org> to complete your registration. Conference information and agenda can be found at http://www.nahmma.org/displayconvspecific.cfm?convnbr=4542
Florida Chapter members will be able to attend with a current active NAHMMA membership (conference registration fee waived). Florida chapter members will need to use a promotional code when registering to receive the conference registration discount ($375). Please contact myself Rita.perini at brevardcounty.us<mailto:Rita.perini at brevardcounty.us> or Glen Perrigan Glen.perrigan at dep.state.fl.us<mailto:Glen.perrigan at dep.state.fl.us> to obtain the promotional code before registering.
The conference is fast approaching and it is especially important to make your hotel reservations now. We need to ensure we can meet our anticipated room reservation targets in order to avoid costly penalties. It's very easy to make your room reservations by phone or by email via the registration page link. The room rate is the goverment prevailing rate of $101.00 plus a $15.00 parking/resort fee ($116.00 per night). When booking your room on line be sure to use NAHMMA in the group code to get the government discount.

The conference planning committee is working tirelessly to bring you an informative and fun week. I am excited with the conference agenda as it includes great speakers, sessions, trainings, tours and a new "beach" designed HW Olympic event. Two new additions this year include the sale of NAHMMA t-shirts and a silent auction to be held at the Awards dinner on Wednesday July 28th. So be sure to check out the t-shirts and all the tempting gift items (registration table).
Thank you for your continued dedication and support of the Florida Caribbean NAHMMA Chapter. I look forward to seeing you in beautiful St. Pete Beach soon.
Rita Perini
President, Florida Caribben Chapter
