In responding to this Orlando inquiry, I used the TRC website www.thermostat-recycle.org<http://www.thermostat-recycle.org> for the first time in a while. It's got a quick collection location finder by zipcode. If you get inquiries about recycling commercial Hg thermostats, this would be one quick way to help them find a recycling location if your program does not accept commercial Hg thermostats. It only costs a HVAC [Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning] wholesale supplier $25 one time fee to become a collection point in this manufacturer-funded program.

Subject: Orlando inquiry: 30 Hg thermostats from hotel - disregard my phone message
Oscar: I left you a voice mail this morning about the Marriott Cypress [Orlando 407.238.1300 x 6180, Engineering/Maintenance Johnny DelGado or Ms. Varsha Sheh] which replaced ~30 Hg thermostats from their hotel units and was looking for a place to dispose/recycle. After I left you the voice mail asking whether your program could accept them, I referred the Marriott to their HVAC supplier for access to the TRC program. Both of the HVAC suppliers they buy from were listed as TRC collection sites. I told the Marriott that if their particular HVAC supplier was not in the TRC program, they should recommend that that supplier get in the TRC program. I provided the Marriott with the TRC website with collection site locator at www.thermostat-recycle.org<http://www.thermostat-recycle.org>.
This is a long way of saying "Disregard my phone message, Oscar!"
