US Automobile Recyclers Launch Website Promoting Recycled Parts

Last week, the US Automotive Recyclers Association launched a website to "promote the positive economic and environmental impact of recycled automotive parts." The website allows visitors to find nearby recycled auto parts dealers through a zip code search feature and briefly discusses the benefits of using recycled parts.

"On an annual basis recycling automobiles in the U.S. provides enough steel to produce almost 13 million new vehicles, saves an estimated 85 million barrels of oil and reduces greenhouse gases associated with the manufacturing of new or replacement automobile parts," said ARA CEO Michael E. Wilson.

The URL for the new website is http://www.greenrecycledparts.com/.
