Greetings SQG Folks!

Just learned of a new national procedure Home Depot's have put in place
for any government/compliance related inspection. Just thought we'd
share. Hope to see some friendly faces at the conference in a few
weeks!

Subject: Home Depot Info

Hello, All -

Please belay my last (somewhat) regarding the HD protocol I told you
about this morning . Their corporate regulatory compliance specialist
(Michelle O'Brien) just called me, and gave me some more info. When
you go to a Home Depot to do an inspection, you

1. Can ask for any manager, it doesn't have to be the store
manager. That manager should know that he/she needs to contact Michelle
or her group to inform that an inspection is about to take place.

2. The stores should be keeping printed copies of the final
manifests from "My Apron"; this is something they're straightening out
internally - however:

3. Any "designated associate" (doesn't have to be an Asst. Manager
on up, can be the "Key Carrier" or even InFocus Captain if they're
"designated") - should be able to access the manifests electronically.

4. Within a few days to a week after an inspection, Michelle will
call you to see that you got the info you needed, and to see if there
are any discrepancies that need to be corrected.

5. The inspection report should be sent to both Michelle and the
store manager (if you send it only to the store manager, they're just
going to send it to her, anyway).

Vanessa, she didn't seem to be warm to the idea of giving us this in
writing per se, but would like the info disseminated informally. I'd
send it to Glen, but every email seems to end up on the internet. Can
we ask to put this forth at the conference?

Thanks -

Martha
