[Sqg-program] Uniforms

Acting as an extension of Levy County Emergency Management, I have performed
each and every contracted SQG site visit and verification for 6 years now.
I wear either a plain colored shirt or one with the Levy County Emergency
management logo on it. In my 6 years, I have only been refused once and
funny enough, when I returned 2 years later, the business owner apologized
to me and was very helpful. I do not carry a badge with me as many others
have stated. If asked, I present a RPC business card for identification. I
have often thought about wearing a more identifiable shirt or uniform but
think it would turn the process form a friendly one to a "what is government
doing in my business" one and be detrimental to the process. Considering
all, I believe Levy County has a very productive program and the business
owners are more than willing to assist in the process.
Thank you,

I have been task to ask other counties, as to whether or not anyone
carries/wears a badge, as part of your uniform.
If you do where a badge, please indicate whether or not you have enforcement
capabilities.
Thanks
