[Sqg-program] RE: Uniforms

Jeff,

As a Regional Planning Council inspector I wear a council log shirt and council ID on my person. I have always presented a business card during site visits upon arrival and I have never been denied access to a facility. The only other part of my uniform is the steel toe shoes which I wear. The FDEP SQG Handbook is also a part of my tool kit.

Hi Jeff,

I do not have enforcement capabilities and do not wear a badge.

I wear a lanyard with my photo ID and present the facility with a copy of the notification letter with my business card attached.

Only a few times have I been questioned.  A couple of those times, the facility either called my agency or viewed my agency's website while I was waiting.
