Hello all,

As many of you are aware, Florida is hosting the 2014 National NAHMMA Conference in Orlando at the Buena Vista Palace Hotel on August 18th - 21st, 2014. For those who are planning on attending the workshop, this is a great opportunity to become more involved during the week of the conference.

Moderators are currently being recruited for the SQG track sessions. The sessions begin on the morning of Monday, August 18th and continue through the Wednesday , August 20th. Moderators are important for the conference to run smoothly and on schedule. Moderator responsibilities include ensuring that the sessions start on time, introducing the speaker or panel at the start of the session, advising the speaker or panel of remaining time throughout the session and time, and making sure the session comes to an end as scheduled. A packet for each session will be provided to each moderator that will include a bio of each speaker or panel member, guidelines on how to communicate with the speaker or panel to advise them on remaining time of the session and who to call in case there are any problems that may come up.

If you would like to participate as a moderator for the upcoming conference, contact Gerry Javier at javier at epchc.org<mailto:javier at epchc.org> to have your name included in the pool of moderators for the SQG track. Please include the day and time you expect to arrive at the conference. Additional details will be provided once sessions are assigned a moderator.

Thanks,

Gerry Javier
