[Sqg-program] SQG Inspection Protocol Question

HI all, I do St. Lucie sites and this year I was able only to do 34 on site, 137 phone verifications and 27 drive bys for potentials. FDEP, Glen Perrigan ok'd this for this cycle, but not sure how I will conduct the next year. Masks and gloves for sure, but I think I will call the bigger facilities and try to meet with them - if they are ok then I will go, if not I will do by phone and note the system.

Thanks for the coordination on who is doing what - have you heard from many others?

Lora,

For Duval County, we have not resumed conducting normal inspections. For now, the inspectors are doing drive-by inspections of facilities that we have listed in CHAZ as Out of Business to see if a new business is operating from that location. Personal contact is done only if necessary and a face covering is required to be worn by the inspector if they interact with someone at a site. It's not clear at this point when we will return to conducting on-site inspections at facilities and how those procedures will be managed.

Good morning all,

With the new inspection year upon us, I was wondering how other Counties and inspectors are handling the SQG inspections as we begin to re-open and return to 'normal' due to the COVID-19 pandemic? Has anyone began in-person inspections, or still conducting them remotely? What are some of the protocols for conducting in-person inspections to comply with CDC guidelines if you are doing face-to-face inspections? I hope everyone is healthy and safe. Thank you for your time and consideration and I look forward to your responses.

Kind Regards,
