Possession and retention of a valid Florida Driver’s License. <b><span
style='font-weight:bold'>Highly Desirable:</span></b> Three years experience in
contract administration, franchise collection management, and/or emergency
management programs including 1 year of supervisory experience or training. </span></font><font

Solid Waste Division with respect to environmental programs including
applicable regulations and permits as well as County policies. <b><span
style='font-weight:bold'>Minimum Qualifications: </span></b>Bachelor’s
Degree with major course work in environmental management, physical, natural or
biological science, public or business administration or a related field and 3
years of progressively responsible work experience in landfill management,
solid and/or hazardous waste programs or related environmental field; and 2
years of supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education,
training and/or experience. Advanced degrees in a related field may be
substituted for up to 2 years of required work experience. Possession and
maintenance of a valid Florida Driver’s License. <b><span
style='font-weight:bold'>Special Requirement:</span></b> Candidate must possess
or have the ability to successfully obtain a SWANA Manager of Landfill
Operations certification before the end of the first year of employment. <b><span
style='font-weight:bold'>Highly Desirable:</span></b> Possession or have the
ability to successfully obtain an OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency
