updated 2014 Laboratory Waste Management Guide</a> that incorporates the recent publication of the Washington Department of Ecology&#8217;s
<a href="https://fortress.wa.gov/ecy/publications/SummaryPages/96412.html">Revised Treatment By Generator Guidance</a>.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><o:p>&nbsp;</o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">The Lab Guide is an easy-to-use manual that has helped businesses and schools quickly understand how to safely handle and store hazardous chemicals and legally dispose of them. Dozens of laboratory safety
 managers and regulators have contributed their expertise to making it practical and understandable.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">The <a href="http://www.lhwmp.org/home/publications/publications_detail.aspx?DocID=o5fpDUrc%2f%2bc%3d">
2014 Laboratory Waste Management Guide</a> incorporates Ecology&#8217;s new guidelines for treatment of waste by
<a href="https://fortress.wa.gov/ecy/publications/SummaryPages/1404004.html">Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generators</a>, and adds two new acceptable treatment methods;
<a href="https://fortress.wa.gov/ecy/publications/SummaryPages/1404003.html">Aldehyde Deactivation</a> and
<a href="https://fortress.wa.gov/ecy/publications/SummaryPages/1404002.html">Polymerization</a>.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
