Based on your comments about FIRST's load tests not seriously =
challenging
epic52's resources, I'm assuming that you have made a lot of progress on =
(1)
how to load test web services and (2) how to measure AS server resource
utilization.  As you recall, I asked you to work on both of these =
methods
soon after you arrived and I've not yet seen your results.

We know from our own experience that Forms is a memory hog and J2EE =
servers
and applications are reputed to be so. Thus, although 12G may appear to =
be a
lot of memory. I feel that we need to manage it very carefully even in =
the
short run. =20

The only way I can see this happening I for you and Suzanne to prescribe =
a
full complement of load testing for the FIRST web services.  As you =
know, I
am particularly concerned about Philip's earlier claim that digital =
photos
will be transmitted since this kind of traffic has previously clogged =
email
and network resources. I hope this feature will be exercised extensively =
in
the testing.
