shrug-l: proportion of watershed upstream of monitoring location

Hey Mike,
 
You will either need to manually delineate the part of the watershed that
drains into that location, or use Spatial Analyst and a DEM to have GIS
automatically do a delineation.  The manual method requires using the
contours of a topographic map which is (in my opinion) more accurate, but
also requires skill and experience.  With Spatial Analyst, a good DEM is
required, or you will get errors.  If you would like more information, please

I have a point shape file of monitoring locations on rivers.  I have a shape
file of the watershed polygons in which those monitoring stations are
located.  For a particular monitoring location, how do I calculate the
proportion of the watershed that is upstream from that location?
