gis-l: ARCVIEW 3.2a - ArcSDE Prompting for a Password

GIS Users,

For reasons that we are trying to determine, ArcSDE appears to be =
prompting
users for a USERNAME/PASSWORD pair when opening an existing ArcView 3.2a
project that contains ArcSDE layers.  Enter the PASSWORD "sdeuser" into =
the
password textbox and the project should open without further problems.  =
Note
that the USERNAME "sdeuser" with the PASSWORD "sdeuser" is our universal
read-only account.

We will let you know when we have determined the cause and resolved this
issue.  We apologize for any confusion this has caused.
