GIS Users,

As part of the GIS Needs Assessment, some users requested a "Function =
which
allows user to stop a request - - such as halting the retrieval of a DOQ =
or
densely populated theme so that the user will not be forced to wait for
completion (similar to the "Stop" button on Internet Explorer)."

While the results are not always immediate (depending on the power of =
the
CPU), use the Escape (Esc) key to stop a view from drawing. If you're
drawing imagery that's coming from a network drive, it may draw a bit =
more
before it stops, but you shouldn't have to wait for all layers to draw =
over
the whole view.
