gis-l: What happened to the Buttons?

Our GIS Meeting announcement was supposed to have voting buttons but, as
everyone knows by now, it didn't. Deborah Parker has the answer why the
buttons did not come through. Thanks Deborah!

The Outlook voting option is only available if using a Microsoft =
Exchange
server, and our listserve runs on a UNIX server.  Therefore, Outlook =
doesn't
even send the buttons to begin with.  If you absolutely must use that
feature, then you will need to create an Outlook distribution list and =
not
use the GIS-L.
