gis-l: ** Updated/New Brownfields Data in DataMiner/DataCatalog**

GIS Users,

The following datasets have been updated in ArcSDE, DataMiner and DataCatalog

ArcSDE Name - Dep.Brownfields_areas
DataMiner Name - Brownfield Area Polygons

ArcSDE Name - Dep.Brownfields_points
DataMiner Name - Brownfield Area Centroids

These datasets now have 137 records from the previous version's 132. The
metadata has been updated for both of these layers with the names of the
newly added Brownfields and their ID numbers.

The following is a new addition to the FDEP GIS Library:

ArcSDE Name - Dep.EPA_Brownfields_Pilots_Areas
DataMiner Name - EPA Brownfield Areas

EPA's Brownfields Program is designed to empower states, communities, and
other stakeholders in economic redevelopment to work together in a timely
manner to prevent, assess, safely clean up, and sustainably reuse
brownfields. This dataset is a point layer of all the EPA Pilot Brownfields
locations in the state of Florida. This layer has 21 records. It is available
via the 'DWM' tab in DataMiner and the 'Environmental Monitoring & Modeling'
category in DataCatalog.
