GIS Users,
The following layer has been newly introduced in ArcSDE, DataCatalog and
DataMiner:
ArcSDE Name: DEP. GREEN_LODGING_HOTELS
DataCatalog/DataMiner Name: Green Lodging Hotels
The Florida Green Lodging Program was established in 2004 by the Florida
Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) with the intent of recognizing
and rewarding environmentally conscientious lodging facilities in the state.
Through this rapidly growing program DEP encourages the lodging industry to
conserve and protect Florida's natural resources. This statewide layer
contains designated the Green Lodging Hotels.
This layer can be accessed under the "Recreation Tourism and Cultural" and
"Transportation" categories in DataCatalog and is under the "DWM" tab in
DataMiner.
The following layer's existing data source will be changed on May 27th 2008:
ArcSDE Name (current source): DEP. ECOREGIONS
ArcSDE Name (new source): DEP. ECOREGIONS_2008
DataCatalog/DataMiner Name: Ecoregions/Subregions
This new layer can be accessed from the "Biology/Ecology" category in
DataCatalog and under the "Boundaries" category in DataMiner after May 27th.
Users are requested to note the date above and update any saved projects if
necessary.
