The Florida Geological Survey (FGS) data stewards have requested the removal from DataMiner, DataCatalog and MapDirect. These layers will no longer be available from the GIS online data download page: http://www.dep.state.fl.us/gis/datadir.asp
ArcSDE Name – DEP.SINKHOLES
DataMiner/DataCatalog Name: Sinkholes
ArcSDE Name – DEP.FGS_SINKHOLES
DataMiner/DataCatalog Name: Unverified Sinkholes
These layers have been deemed redundant by FGS across many records as well as being outdated. These layers will be soon replaced by new comprehensive Sinkhole layers that are currently being developed by FGS. In the interim, if users need to access the Sinkhole data, please contact Brian Clark – brian.clark at dep.state.fl.us<mailto:brian.clark at dep.state.fl.us> or Clint Kromhout – clint.kromhout at dep.state.fl.us<mailto:clint.kromhout at dep.state.fl.us> for assistance.
