The following layers are new additions to the FDEP GIS library:
ArcSDE Name: BASE.FLORIDA_UTM_ZONES
DataCatalog/DataMiner Name: Florida Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) Zones
Florida UTM Zones layer represents the Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) Zones covering the state of Florida and is available in the “Base Maps, Scanned Maps & Charts” category in DataCatalog and is under the “Indexes” tab in DataMiner.
ArcSDE Name: BASE.STATE_PLANE_ZONES
DataCatalog/DataMiner Name: Florida State Plane Zones
State Plane Coordinate System zone maps for the State of Florida. This data layer depicts the counties included in the North, East and West zones along with their respective FIPS zone numbers. This layer is also available in the “Base Maps, Scanned Maps & Charts” category in DataCatalog and is under the “Indexes” tab in DataMiner.
ArcSDE Name: BASE.HARD_BOTTOM_HABITAT_2007
DataCatalog/DataMiner Name: Hard Bottom Habitats - Springs Coast
This layer depicts dense hard bottom habitats (greater than 0.5 acres) within the midshore region of the Springs Coast using the 2007 seagrass mapping project boundary. This 2007 boundary extends to a maximum of 15 nm offshore within Hernando County. Hard bottom habitats were hand digitized from the 2007 seagrass imagery. This layer is in the Oceans and Estuaries category in DataCatalog and is under the “Boundaries”, “Indexes” and “Water” tabs in DataMiner.
