gis-l: New/Updated FWC and WRM layers in DataMiner

GIS Users,
The following layer is a new addition to the FDEP GIS library:

ArcSDE Name: BASE.SWFWMD_SEAGRASS_AREAS_2007
DataMiner Name: SWFWMD Seagrass Areas 2007

The Southwest Florida Water Management District (District) is responsible for the protection and management of natural systems and water quality within its geographic boundaries. One component of evaluating the ecological health of coastal ecosystems is to map and monitor submerged aquatic vegetation (SAV) communities. This data set was created to aid in these efforts. This layer is available under the “Water” and “FWC” tabs in DataMiner.

The following WRM layers were recently updated in the GIS library:
ArcSDE Name: DEP.WBIDS
DataMiner Name: Waterbody Ids (WBIDs)

ArcSDE Name: DEP. OUTSTANDING_FLORIDA_WATERS
DataMiner Name: Outstanding Florida Waters

ArcSDE Name: DEP.IWR_STATIONS
DataMiner Name: Impaired Waters Rule (IWR) Stations

These 3 layers are available under the ‘Water’ and ‘WRM’ tabs in DataMiner.

ArcSDE Name: DEP.SURF_WATER_CLASS_BOUND_AREAS
DataMiner Name: Surface Water Class Boundaries (Areas)

This layer is available under the ‘Boundaries’ and ‘Water’ tabs in DataMiner.
