gis-l: ArcGIS Version 10 Service Pack 1 available for installation

GIS Users,

ArcGIS desktop 10.0 along with Service Pack 1 are now available for download via our intranet site.  You can find out more about the functionality offered in this latest version here<http://www.esri.com/software/arcgis/arcgis10/index.html>.

Previous versions of FDEP's customized tools, including Table to Point, Data Miner, Quick Zoom and the Lat/Long tool will no longer work in 10.0 and so should be removed prior to installation of 10.0.  Uninstall instructions for customized tools are included at the following intranet website here<http://depnet/gis/software/arcgis10/arcgisdesktop.htm> and should be followed in a step-by-step fashion.

Please note that ArcGIS version 9.3.1, Service Packs 1 and 2 will continue to be supported for some time to come and so upgrade to version 10.1 Service Pack 1 is optional at this time.  Previous versions (9.2 and prior) will no longer be supported by OTIS/GIS.
