GIS Users,
The following layers were recently added in the GIS library:

ArcSDE Name: BASE.CERP_PROJECT_AREAS
DataMiner Name: CERP Project Boundaries

The Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP) is a massive environmental effort encompassing many organizations and projects. Coordination of the projects is one of the main objectives, and GIS is a key technology to coordinate the work. This layer (obtained from the SFWMD) is an official map of the boundaries of the CERP projects, including Expedited projects, intended to be used by all researchers and collaborators in the CERP process. This layer is under the “Boundaries” tab in DataMiner and replaces the following older CERP layers:

ArcSDE Name: ERP.CERP_PROJECT_AREAS
DataMiner Name: CERP Project Areas

ArcSDE Name: ERP.CERP_CONCEPTUAL_PROJECT_AREAS
DataMiner Name: CERP Conceptual Project Areas
Please update any saved projects with the new layer by July 29th.

The following layers have been recently updated in the GIS library:

ArcSDE Name: DEP.BROWNFIELD_AREAS
DataMiner Name: Brownfield Areas
This layer now has 270 records. The metadata has been updated for this layer with the name of the new Brownfield Areas and their ID numbers.

ArcSDE Name: DEP.BROWNFIELD_SITES
DataMiner Name: Brownfield Sites
This layer now has 159 records. The metadata has been updated for this layer with the name of the new Brownfield Site and its ID number.
These 2 layers are in the ‘DWM” tab in DataMiner.

ArcSDE Name: DEP.ELEMENT_OCCURRENCE
DataMiner Name: Element Occurrence

ArcSDE Name: DEP.FL_CONSERVATION_LANDS_MA
DataMiner Name: Florida Conservation Lands (FNAI Managed Areas)

These above mentioned 2 layers are under the “FNAI” tab in DataMiner.

Thanks,
