To clarify, if you have a version of ArcGIS Desktop 10.0 SP5 or above, you do not have to upgrade at this time.

Good morning,

OTIS/GIS will be upgrading the production ArcSDE instances to version 10.0 SP5 on Thursday, September 19 starting at 6PM. All GIS Services will be down including DataMiner, MapDirect, WebShapeLite, ESSA, etc. for approximately 15 minutes.

After the upgrade, any ArcGIS Desktop users that are not at 10.0 SP5 will no longer be able to connect to ArcSDE (including DataMiner). Please see our software install page to upgrade ArcGIS Desktop: http://depnet/gis/software/index.htm
