Hello All,

This is Susanne and I am getting my MS in Environmental Management and my thesis topic is PPCPs in drinking water and soil sludge used for lawn/garden enhancements and large organic agricultural operations. If anyone has any information to provide concerning research that they are doing, local initiatives, agriculture testing that has been done on produce, etc. Please share or email me directly. I am starting to look through the archives now on this website. I am particularly interested in the organic food industry and how does this impact them? I am assuming that they use biosolids and water that may be contaminated but are not required to screen for that. I wondering what does certified organic really mean in the US in relation to this issue? Is it a meaningless label now?

Susanne
