Jennifer - Good point. However, I think you sold yourself short on the
shipping and handling. Haven't you purchased any K-Tel albums over TV
lately?

Why do I never think of these things first and get rich quick! Their half
gallon jug is $24 and you put it right in the trash when full J I'd fill
that jug half full of 5 cents worth of vinegar and be ready to sell. My
organic, extra virgin, crystalline clear, white vinegar should dissolve
those tablets and I will only charge you $5 ($10 for shipping and handling).
I suppose I'd have to add "caution" to my label though. There is a product
comparison that includes Sharps Compliance, "Take Away", kitty litter and
flushing.
I left a message with the Joint Commission because I am curious what their
guidelines are for home medicine disposal, if they have any.

I think I want these guys working on the tricorder and warp drive because
they've got some real miracle science going here. Anything that can work in
an activated carbon system isn't doing (insert crude expletive) to the
chemical species of the drug so any organic chemist worth a hoot would be
able to extract nearly 100% of your drugs for you. As for preventing them
from leaching into groundwater after discarding they must be relying upon
the plastic jug and the engineering controls of the landfill where the stuff
is disposed because activated charcoal won't do that.

Advertised as "instant, effective, safe".
THIS IS NOT AN ENDORSEMENT. Wanted to see if anyone has experience with
this product. Website indicates product "EXCEEDS these guidelines: Federal
& The Joint Commission" yet it appears to be marketed towards the consumer
market. MSDS indicates activated carbon as the only ingredient that the
company discloses.
Also noticed website indicated that it will be coming to "local national
chains retailers".
