Meika, If you would like information on a program that is working on a large scale, several states MI, Il and WI-more to be added take a look at www.greatlakescleanwater for the Yellow Jug Old Drugs program. The program is free to consumers-most of our funding is provided by the pharmacies that
participate. As a non-profit our goal is to keep the cost as low as possible to encourage the most participation. The cost is $25 per month per pharm. That cost is the same no matter how much weight(unused drugs) is collected. We actively pursue grant funding and have received among others, funding
from the Michigan DEQ. Feel free to contact me.

> Good Afternoon,
>
> The Vermont legislature has tasked me with developing recommendations regarding the creation of a voluntary statewide drug disposal program for unused over the counter and prescription drugs at no cost to the consumer. Besides Maine's mail back program, I am not aware of anything that exists that
would serve this purpose. Can you please let me know if others have ideas or have implemented a drug disposal program that is free to the consumer?>
