LOCATION OF POSITION Camp Blanding Training Site ? Starke, Flo=
rida
SPECIAL NOTE: Coordinates the development and
integration of program wide GIS databases applicati=
ons
and related technologies. Develops and implements
spatial database maintenance and configuration
management procedures. Develops and implements QA
procedures to ensure GIS data conforms to Camp Blan=
ding
applications and operating procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college=
or
university and three years of experience in compute=
r
systems analysis and/or computer programming; or a
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or
university with a major in one of the computer scie=
nces
or in management information systems and two years =
of
experience as described above; or a Master's degree=
from an accredited college or university in one of =
the
computer sciences or in management information syst=
ems
and one year of experience as described above; or a=
Doctorate from an accredited college or university =
in
one of the computer sciences or in management
information systems; or Four (4) years of experien=
ce
as described above and either (1) completion of a 7=

classroom hour program of study from a vocational
/technical school or accredited community college i=

area of data processing (excluding data entry), or =

60 semester or 90 quarter hours of college course w=

from an accredited institution which includes four
courses in computer science or management informati=

systems. Experience as described above can substitu=

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Performs administrative and/or technical
oversight of the Camp Blanding Training Site GIS
Program. Make recommendations to the Environmental
Manager for program initiatives and actions.
Coordinates effectively with the GIS projects and
analysis. Designs and develop, and manage GIS data
organizational structures and quality assurance
methodologies. Assist in the budget preparation pro=
cess
for assigned areas.
